There was a little smart monkey in a tree. A big green crocodile came to the tree. He saw the little monkey and wanted to eat her. “I’ll have the monkey for my breakfast, “ thought the crocodile. “Good morning, Miss monkey,” said the crocodile. “Good morning, Mr. Crocodile,” said the monkey. “Good news!” said the crocodile. “What news?” asked the monkey.

The crocodile said, “Very good news, my little monkey! We all are friends now! We are friends: all monkeys, crocodiles and hunters. Come to me! I want to speak to you. But the little monkey was very smart. “Oh, hunters! I must go home!” said the crocodile. “Oh, why, my dear friend? The hunters are our friends, too,” said the monkey. “I think, they don’t know the news,” said the crocodile and ran away.
